Default Valve Cover bolts?

i'm missing one freaking bolt that goes on top of your valve cover. it looks like it was a washer with a 10mm bolted on top of it. do you guys know where i can get one at? this is the first night of me having my car back with my d16y8 swap, and i can see oil squirting out of that one place where the bolt should have been. as you can see on this valve cover, you can clearly see the 5 bolts. i'm missing the one all the way to the right where that one ground is at.

Honda delaership or junker, wont be expensive. Ours (4g) are studs and they only cost like $5 each.

I know they sell them, however if they have them in stock is questionable. I had to have mine shipped when I needed them. Call some around you and ask, then ask prices for overnight and 2 day air shipping. I know my dealership sends orders out on tues and gets the parts thurs. The only other thing I would try is if youve got an old a6 or b2 laying around from your swap try sticking one of the grommets in there with some hondbond to hold the leaking for a day or 2. Good luck.

Oh yeah, for now I'd be sure to have the ground hooked up so I'd take one of the other bolts out and put it in that hole.

well..i just upgraded from a d15b2 to a d16y8. all i can say is....holy ****. Yep, that's a y8 with an a6 manifold. it's not my engine picture, but i do have basically the same set up. I'm using the pm6 ecu, si register box, a6 manifold, a6 distributor, Si Tranny.

Take one bolt out and go to the hardware store and try and match it up with the bolt you pulled out.......that would be my first idea.

Otherwise yeah honda, but being that I work at a dealership, I know we'd get a kick outta someone who came in for one bolt on a valve cover......lol but we all have to swallow our pride every now and then ive done worse things....

good luck, hope your swap makes you happy once you take care of this ordeal.
