Default DC5-S with bose system, NEED BETTER SUB!?

Want to change sub, and only sub. Any great suggestions?

P.S. Reason why only sub cause i like a lot of clean bass, without the flash for getting jacked.

If you have a 02 rsx s. they have a fix to make it a little bit stronger. just take it to the dealer.

If your not a crazy bass head, a new headunit will make a huge difference. The reason why there is a lack of bass is because the bose woofer is underpowered, and with a aftermarket headunit, it will make both your speakers and sub come alive.

Can you elaborate on this, I work at the dealer and we don't have many people complaining about the bass performance, most just install their own components anyway...What can the dealer do?????

there is a fix for the sub. if you reverse 2 wires it will make the base stronger. not like day and night difference. but slight.

I just found it....

Applies to 2002 Models only, but I could check the terminals on my car and see if it works on my 03 also.

It is in the December of 2001 Service News.

Okie, no more flamming. I think if you want more bass than go for a small sub and amp.

I wasn't flamming. I just defended myself from someone saying I give bad info.

thats right...all you have to do is tap into youre stock "bass" speaker with an amp and a good box for your bass, it'll work- well at least it worked for me.
