Default Ecu codes-check engine light

can someone tell me how to check the codes on a 1996 accord ex and what the codes mean? i dont know where the jumper is.

It'as the 2-pin connector under/behind the glove box.

under the glove box i only see an orange plug and it has 3 pins not 2. also where can i find what the codes mean?

Look for a blue 2-pin connector right next to a blue 3-pinner.

Pull the ash tray and plug in an OBD II and it will spit out a code. I would bet it is a 141. (the most frequent code on those things)

one problem, i dont have an OBD II. so its the blue plug under the dash that i have to use the jumper on??
