check engine light came on on my stock gsr? wuts going on?
so yea, my check engine light came on while i was driving on the freeway. i wasnt revving it hella high, racing or anything and it just suddenly came on. the car is pretty much stock except for an ebay intake, which i had for about 2 years and the engine is pretty new. does anyone know what's going on or have a hypothesis to what's going on? thanks

Evaporative Emission [EVAP] controls
i cant tell you how to fix it but it has to do with the black canister to the lower right of the battery..that is the EVAP purge control diaphragm valve..a hose or vacuum line might have gotten disconnected..also check the little black circular cap [EVAP purge control solenoid valve] to the left of the intake manifold.

its happend to me and my g/f before. just check your gas cap and reset your ecu after. it should go away.

i checked the gas cap and turned it like 10 clicks. also checked the canister to the right of the battery, but coudlnt find the black cap on the left of the intake. light is still on. guess i gotta take it to the shop to get it checked.
