If you had 6k for a engine for your crx what would you do?
I am bored, I have money to waste, and I want a new motor lol. What would you guys do with 6k.
Would you buy a Dh-Racing motor?
Would you build your own motor?
Or would you just spend half the cash on beer, and hope the motor swap came out right
?
If you are going to post about your own motor build. Please state what you would build and why if your not to lazy heheh.

But I would probably attempt an H22 swap with i/h/e, cam, 550cc injectors,100shot and a zdyne ecu.
I dunno but I would defientely go h22 if you wanna stay all motor. Even with bolt ons it would just kick *** and break traction easily. Spray on it would take most everything from a roll and wouldnt be a constart killer on your engine.

K20 or K24...if you have $6,000 wait for the Hasport mounts and drop one in. You could probably do it for under 6k (maybe not i dunno how much those motors cost). Stay with bolt ons untill you get used to your insane amounts of horsepower/torque...then a few months/years later...BOOST that thing.

I don't see a K20 or K24 fitting under the hood of a CRX. I have a rebuilt b18c engine in my '90 CRX and there is barely enough room in there now. Ive seen a H22 swap.. I couldn't imagine a K20...the motor sits the opposite way and more towards the front. i wouldn't doubt it if Hasport came out with some mounts for a 92 hatch or something.. a K20 swap is merely a dream swap right now..

6k? h23a or h22a swap,b20/with a b18c5 head allmotr, but peronal if i had 6k i would do my, new struts,coilover's,bushing's,traction bars,A-arms, lower arm's,spindles, slotted rotors,new brake's, cuss if u have 250+ hp, u will need to stop good and what not, then with the money left over build a allmotor h22a and a 55 shot..lol some slick's,
my buddy had a 88 hf with build bottom end on a h23a,with jg stage 3 camshaft's,h/i/e un-tuned 35 shot, gutted ran a 11.23 in the 1/4. 2.08 0-60ft

I would build up a b16 and put a supercharger with a ton of boost on..... that **** will rip the front end right off the car

Damn fool were do you get $2500 on valvatrain and cam? and coating $400?
Just get a GSR complete swap for around $3000 and turbo the **** out of it with the $3000 left.
But it depends how much HP you want?
