edit- okay-- sorry-- j/p man
seriously though--- the aftermarket support for that model teg is very small.
Sport Compact did transplant a dohc vtec into one... how serious are you?
i'd say give that bad boy a nice tuneup-- change out the clutch, get some good tires, and throw a 50 shot on there
look into a turbo setup!!
its up to you tho-- someone else is gonna have to chime in, im not that experience with the 80's tegs

Go to http://www.g1teg.org, I believe one of the members on that site was running low 13s or high 12s with his. There is quite a few ways to get there, I know Jackson Racing makes a supercharger for ZC motors. Gude makes a head package for that vehicle as well. I do know that Bill Gude is a scumbag too. I think you will be able to find your answer on that website though. Hope it helps

Forgot to mention that Cusco makes a rear strut bar for the 1g. I do not know of any tie-bars however, you might have to custom fab one yourself.
I found dc ceramic header. k&n intake. and a racing cat with a 2.5 inch titanium piping I found aem adjuctible cam gears. and Im thinking of rebuilding but I think it would be more worth my money to put in a b18c.Im also building the body more stronger just doing little things to striengthen the chasie

1) If you want to run 13's, you will need a LOT of money for an engine swap and engine work. Any b-series engine will fit with the hasport mounts and wiring harness.
2) You wont need a rear tower bar or a lower tie bar, because of the solid beam axel your car has. Well, a sturt tower bar may help, but I doubt it will do much for you if you are planning to go in a straigt line.
just gotto http://www.g1teg.org for any g1 specific questions.
