can my car hit 14's?
NO WAY should you gut your back out dude... thats disgusting
. But to break into the 14's you will most likely need headers/gutted "cat" and a full exhaust, possibly even some cams and tuning... depending on the condition of the car and your driving skills.
And dont waste your money on justa vtec controller, get a fuel controller like an Apexi Vafc2 or alike.

im pretty sure most people think vafc is the "vtec controller"
also way to many factors for an estimation of time. Because i have seen gsr's go high 14's stock and also low 16's stock

lol... "Gut my back out"... Don't gut your stock cat retard, you know how much it costs for a new one (which you will need when going for inspection)... A hi-flow cat still won't help you... But the 'search' button will...

Definetly possible for your car to hit high 14's in the quarter....
Tune the VAFC at your local shop, you already have CAI n an exhaust, chip in into a pair BFG drag radilas for the two front tires and practice your launching at whatever RPM your use to..You shouls be fine!

You don't think it's possible?
Last time I went to the track I hit 15.07 w/ full interior and spare, bone stock engine, stock intake and exhuast (K&N filter in stock box). I guarantee I could break 14's if I gutted the interior.

The most important thing I think you can do, is get a really good set of tires, and work on your launch/60' times. Its all about the launch and how quick you make it through the 60'.

Barly a 14 second car, are YOU nuts. I have seen, witnessed gsr's breaking 14's. One with a CAI and a skunk2 IM, gutten interior hit 14.5 w/ street tires. ITR is barly a 14 sec car? How do you drive at the track because most people like driving fast.

I hit 14.9 with a comptech icebox and 17" wheels. Yes you can and you should be around 14.7 with exaust
riceball777: Serously man it has been covered and many people have there GSR's stock in the 14's. I never got to run my car stock so I don't know what kind of time I would have.
