H&R Race or Sport for daily driver?
Next up on the list for my DC2 is my suspension. This is my daily driver and will be driven on all kinds of roads. I plan on getting some KYB AGX struts to go with the springs but I can't decide on the Race or Sport. Let me hear what you think!
P.S. I have 17's now but will be going down to 16's with 205/45 in a few months.

I'm running the H&R Race springs. It sits slightly lower in the front than in the rear. The car rides firm, but in no means harsh with Tociko Illuminas on settings 2/5(fr) and 3/5(rr).
If I were to do it again, I'd probably go with some stiffer springs for the rear. Daily driven 50 miles a day, autox on the weekends.

^^^ dammit your car is higher than mine on H&R Sport springs.
*edit* no actually your drop looks EXACTLY the same as mine in front, and the same mine in back before I moved my Koni perches down to help even it out.
What sucks for me is my spring rates are much lower than yours.

Get the sports. I'm running H&R race right now. The ride is acceptable for daily driving, but it's hard getting out of parking lots and such.
i am in the exact situation as you my freind, i cant decide between the race or the sports and i have the regular ls trim all around so it looks higer than the ones who have any type of lip. My worry is how its gonna look if i only go sports and whether or not race is gonna be to harsh on the ride. Though i am very much performance oriented, more so than comfort. if anyone has side pictures of sports and race H&R or Neuspeed springs on a regular teg 94up please post as it will influence greatly my purchase.
thx

The Eibach Sportline's give a perfect drop, but it just looks uneven because of the shape of the wheel well. It makes the rear look like it sits lower than the front. Still a good spring tho.

IMO you should get the sports. The race springs are stiffer and lower the car more. You will need to stiffen the shocks to control the force of the springs (which will shorten the lifespan of the shocks. The AGX's dont like stiff rates and low springs). The sports will be more than enough.
You will void the warranty on the AGX's if you go lower than 1.5".

The Sports sure as HELL goes lower than 1.5".
They're advertised as a 1.75" drop, but on my car it turned out to be more like 3".

I wish I could say that for my Sports. I have to drive slowly over alot of things so I don't scrape. These springs drop way more than they say. Mine is dropped over 2.5".
