Default 88-91 Cluster wiring....need info...

Do the 88-91 clusters (the ones with tachs of course) have the same pinouts on the plugs?

I'm doing a 01 ITR cluster swap into my 91DX, but the pinouts I have were only "confirmed" on a 88.

Anyone have this information?

Also...

my 89DX does not have a tach...but I have my left over 91DX cluster...simply put...can I throw her in there with no wiring changes?

4)green/Orange-Check Engine
5)yellow/Red-Oil Light
6)Green/Red-E brake
7)Green/Red-Door Light
8)Red-Dash-Dash Lights
9)Red/Black-Dash Lights

oh and for the 91 cluster in the 89 forget about just plugging it in, you need to re-pin the plugs in the 89 to the locations for the 91. You have both now so just cross-reference them!

Any wiring changes for 89 si cluster to fit 89 std hatch?

Sorry to interupt. it seems that you got what you came for,
no sense in making a new thread for this question.

thank you.

No changes in wiring are required to swap an 89 si cluster into the 89 std hatch. It's just a plug and play affair!

Any other q's man?
