I personally havent sat in a set of jdm recaros but I have sat in SRD's and I own a pair of SPD's (that havent been installed yet, still waiting for rails) and im going to assume that they are comprable to the jdm recaros.
I would imagine recaros holding you in better than usdm itr seats. Bigger buttocks bolsters and shoulder bolsters = snug fit even on wild corners

are you saying that the JDM recaros are more suitable for racing than racing buckets? IMHO, when I sat in the JDM recaros, they were uncomfortable and felt as though they added only a little bit more support than the USDM R seats.
also, how are you guys running the stock seat belt fastener with the bucket seats and no rollbar?

how many sets of jdm recaro's have you owned? or even at that recaro's reclineable seats? and how many times have you raced in them? 2 sets of jdm recaro's, 2 sets of srd's, 1 track day and 5 autocrosses later, THAT'S WHERE I GET MY DECISION.
