Anyone ever converted a EDM dash to a USDM dash? (Speedometer, Tach, fuel gauge, temp gauge and idiot lights) It looks simple enough, but the idiot lights are in different spots on the USDM gauge cluster. Will I need to re-pin everything?

 

take the EDM gauges out of the cluster and put them into the USDM one...the screws are on the back of the cluster...

 

I am wanting to convert the EDM to USDM. Everything should work except for the idiot lights. Converting the car to U.S. specs

re-read what i wrote...that is the answer to your question...

 

I am keeping the EDM main board, because it hooks in with the cars wiring harness. My car is a EDM CRX. I am putting my USDM gauge cluster in the car therefor I need to just take out the speedometer and leave the rest. The idiot lights are the same, just in different spots.

 

ok then do the opposite...if you want your idiot lights to work, you dont need to rewire anything, just move the gauges you want into the housing with the idiot lights you want...

yeah i dont get it either...why swap a 155mph/240kmh speedo for a 120/200...and same with the tach...

 

hey if your getting rid of the edm gauges and they are the 155mph and the 8K redline tack let me know i want them hehe
i hate not knowing how fast im goin when im over 120 hehe
