i am about to put a sohc si motor in my cx as a daily driver and i was wondering if i should use the si tranny or cx tranny
which one would give me better gas milage
i was thinking that the cx one would since it has a lower final drive but i don't know anything about a sohc

 

yeah the cx will get better gas mileage but withuout the SI/ex tranny the car will still be pretty slow. id just use the si tranny.

still trying to decide? just go with the Si tranny, you will like it much better than the CX tranny

 

CX tranny will make the car slow as ****, Si will make acceleration 10x better. For a good compromise...go with a DX tranny
