Wow.... just wow.....
I'm in awe right now. I was bored and it was a somewhat nice day so I decided to do some maintenance on the teg. After some advice on these forums I took out my intake filter and rinsed it thouroughly with hot water and let it dry (of course, that would be a dumb way to hydro lock my car
) Let me tell you.. my sink was black with dirt... So on top of that I half *** clean off my car and take off the remaining stickers the previous owner put on it
(no longer a ricer wooo
) I decide to take the car for a test spin to see if I can see an increase in power. First off, I could definetely feel an increase in power, I was pretty surprised, not only that it shifted like a dream. Just earlier that day I was looking at Z's to buy during the summer because I was frustrated with my teg because it was shifting bad and I couldn't figure out why. It wasn't my driving because I drove other sticks fine. I'm telling you, right after I cleaned off this intake it shifted like a dream, I'm putting no effort into shifting and it shifts beautifully, while before it was bumpy when I concentrated hard. I'm falling in love with my car again. I figure my car was protesting the stickers on the car so it failed to work properly untill I took them off
Is that normal? Do all intakes effect shifting like that if not properly cleaned?
Oh and I decided not to sell my car when i go away to school
