Swaping Z6 in STD civic (88) COOLENT SENSOR??
Just like the title says there is a oil and coolent plug in the z6 and on the std motor the plug is alot smaller and by the thermostate. What do i need to do make a plug??? Thx
if the z6 is a 93-95 then all you have to do is take the d15's coolant switch off(unscrew) the back of the block and screw it in on the z6. there is a bolt on the z6 in the same place as where the d15' s coolant plug goes. unscrew that bolt and screw in the d15 coolant switch. make sense? 92 should already be in the back, not on the therm housing.
i see the oil one but right next to it there is a hole but its closed off. I looked bye the thermostate and there is a 2 prong plug there on the (z6) but my old d15 one dont fit there its to long.
on the z6 take that bolt off that is in the same place on the block as the d15s coolant switch, thats where youll screw it in. leave the z6 therm housing sensor alone, dont need it now
