just get the non-platium NGK plugs.. Just go to autoparts store and ask for 1996 prelude SI plugs, same plugs, just copper... You just have to change them more often

Exactly. Magic spark plugs are a waste.

the only way you can tell if the plus 4's will work in your car is to try them. i had brand new ngk's in my 85 prelude and i couldn't hit over 4000 rpms. my friend told me that the plus 4's don't do anything, but i bought them and put them in my prelude anyway. now, for some strange reason, i can easily go over 5500 rpms without a problem. go figure.

Platinum is linked to detenation of your engine, well of course if you are driving your car really hard this could happen. You change platinum plugs every 60,000 miles, whereas 30,000 miles for copper. I use copper NGK plugs, copper is a better conductor, and better horsepower in low-end than platinum - yea, difference of 1-1.5 horsepower, oh well...

I'm using them in my '99 SH for the last year or so and they seem to work fine. I had a slight miss at idle with the factory plugs even after doing a tune up so I changed the plugs out for the +4's and so far so good. ***shrugs***

Well, you won't be able to tell the difference in change of spark plugs, just the arguement is that copper NGK's are the best for honda engines. They come in them, and are designed for them. I don't doubt Bosch at all, I have even seen dyno's that prove bosch creates more power (high-end) than NGK. I only wish NGK make caps and rotors...
