I'm sure that rated to the crank, impressive nonetheless. The article says no vtec??? weird...

Durst may have some serious competition this season...

It doesn't have vtec because it doesn't use the small lobes on the cams. It makes for a lot lighter of a valvetrain this way and it doesn't need the small cam for driveability anyways.

Because he can make the stock manifold produce more low end toque than a XXXL volume manifold can....its more about the flow and velocity

Those Toda D's are no joke...
I was testing waters playing around with an allmotor car,95mmstroke 86mm bore, mildly ported head, yada yada yada...The first pass without touching the cam gears and conservative timing the car made 272whp,once the car heated up it made consecutivly 264...never got to fine tune it,it was like 11 at night so they threw us off the dyno, car was too loud

You can make great power with the gsr manifold. Eric's was not extrusion honed but it was internally modified somewhat. It used 2 butterfly plates with no butterflys, of course. Eric also modified that manifold to fit a b16 head. BTW, Eric just opened a dyno shop, I think in Lynwood CA.

The manifold has more done to it then just taking out the butterfly's. The entire center section has been cut out so it is 1 big open manifold.

I hope he comes back out with his coupe and a K series next year. He is a good competitor and the class needs him.

365whp on a B series...and at 127mph....sure guys We all saw his car on the dyno when it was running 134...the power wasn't exactly a secret and it wasn't anywhere close to that.
