Im planning on purchasing a new intake manifold but what should I get? Someone is selling me there new JG edelbrock polished manifold for $300 or should I buy a skunk2 manifold instead? Which one is better?

and second question is, whats the size difference from gsr throttle body to Type R?

Thanks in advance guys....

if you are running a turbo car then the victor x would be the better choice, especially if you are making any serious power.

for an all-motor or sprayed application the skunk2 would most likely be best suited.... unless of course your cams are making power in the 8-10k range.... then edelbrock victor x.

What's wrong with the GSR mani?

That's what I'm keeping. Good enough for Erik Aguilar, good enough for me.

turob-skunk for daily driver IMO
jg for strip use

What modification do most people have in here? bolt ons, correct?(I,H,E, and maybe camshafts) Thats why Im planning on doing some bolt ons to my car, Intake manifold. But now I got my JG edelbrock manifold, Im planning on selling it and buy a skunk2, If thats what most people recommend.

the victor x is designed for turbo cars or all motor cars that spend a lot of time above 7k or so.... not for a daily driven "bolt-on" all-motor setup...

you'll loose quite a bit of bottom end and midrange with the victor x with a stock motor
