Default Mandrel-Bent Exhaust Performance Value? Survey

I'm working on an article about mandrel-bending for an exhaust industry publication. Any opinions on the performance advantages of Mandrel-Bent Tubing over OEM?

I've posted a quick, one-minute survey on the topic at: http://www.mcs-la.com/survey.html

Thanks for any input.
Pete

I've seen a 240sx and an Integra's exhaust, and they were also mandrel bent from the factory.

Oh and H22cl, it's cool; just a misunderstanding!

</TD></TR></TABLE> correct. madrel bending simply means better flow. the velocity goes faster around the bends simply because they are smoother

How many of you with OEM mandrel-bent pipe have replace your muffler or replaced the whole system? Was the replacement a performance or a style issue? Pete
