Skunk 2 intake manifold
If you mean turbo - yes, decent mod. Seems to help more w/ midrange though. See https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=54229
that graph was taken from here http://www.c-speedracing.com/integra.html
Hope that helps.

I got an LS with ITR pistons, port/polish, valve job, springs/retainers, big bore TB, I/H/E blah, blah, blah I just got a polished Venom inake manifold. How much do you all think this will help?

i would exchange that venom mani for the skunk 2 mani.
with you mods and tuning maybe mid 160's. dont know if you have cams and cam gears or not.
also decent flowing header will help alot too

$300.00 for a Skunk2 intake manifold is an incredible price. I would like to hear the name of the shop you got that from. Skunk2 manifolds are among the best performing manifolds on the market. The thing that customers at my shop like about them is that they bolt directly to all the stock positions and it even looks like the stock manifold, which is good if you want to hide your modifications. Dyno charts on an Integra GSR with I/H/E and Skunk2 intake manifold have shown a total gain from 170hp to about 180-183 hp at the flywheel. The Skunk2 product will give you about 5-8 wheel horsepower.
skunk2 intake manifold helps if your all motor...because after the intake, you would want to get wider throttle body, then intake manifold...i notice a difference when i got mine...$300 shipped is cheap...you won't be dissappointed....

I assume STR intake manifolds are among the best you can get (by looking at their price of over $1000)....?
What makes the skunk2 so much better for turbo compared with Venom or others out there?

STR manifolds are primarily for cars that have so much work in them, that the $1000.00 price tag seems like an ok price. I would not even reccommend getting STR because they are known to be a little tougher to install and can create problems some times. Skunk2 is such an efficient manifold for a turbo because it has the good size plenum and perfect size runners for forced induction like a turbo. Skunk2 looks just like the stock manifold and bolts to all the same points, thus eliminating problems that would occur with any other manifold. I have a Skunk2 in my car and you can definitely feel the power if you have a CAI, header and cat-back. Go with Skunk2
On Point: LS guys go all motor cause it's just as much fun as vtec guys to modify their engines and go faster. Plus, there's nothing like smoking GSRs and Si's with an LS
.
Honestly though I'd like to have a b17a in my car or b18c, but for the cash compared to the cars value I'd rather spend 1000-1500 in mods on my LS with 60k miles on it then dropping 2500-3000 for a B18c with probably the same milage. I well one day have vtec glory, but just not now, so why not have fun?

remember MacLean that you need to get a CAI for that new manifold, your GSR CAI will NOT fit. you will need one for an ITR.
HTH
great mod too, get one quick-like!

On Point: True, but no motor is really a turbo motor in stock form. You've got to build up the bottom end if you want reliability just like any motor. Therefore if you're building bottom end AND turboing, why not just go vtec and build it? That's the way I see it (... nothing really is obvious mod on an LS). LS/VTEC is a pain, Turboing is like LS/VTEC, seems easy but to do it properly you need to drop a lot more cash, and swapping is just expensive and can have hidden problems if you didn't build the motor yourself. Therefore I say mod it a bit, if you like the results, keep going, if not, get a new motor or car! That's what I'm gonna do after I put in my cams and headers. If I don't run at least 0.5 sec faster I am going to look into a b20 shortblock. mmm... torque...
Casue someone broke into my **** and stole half of my engine
But in the end I got a buncha new ****. Its being all heavly built. It will be one of the faster LS all motors in my area when I finished, which will be very amusing to smoke GSR's in
Thats why. Noone ever expects an LS to be fast.... hehe
