Default New muffler for an F4i

I would like some input from real F4i riders. If you have put a new can on your bike or have riden an F4i with an aftermarket muffler, give me your thoughts. Some of the dealers close to me tell me to go with micron and DandD. I would like a deeper growl, but power would be the real selling point.

Let me know, Thanks

Everyone is going to have a different opinion on this.
My bike came with a Two Brothers, which sounds absolutely beautiful.
Definatly one of the nicest exhausts ive found.

However, my favorite exhaust for the f4i has to be the Devil highmount,
in carbon. But i cant justify buying a new exhaust solely on looks.

2bros has the best proven performance on hondas and the sound is incredible. I would buy whatever you like visually and audibly, since the gain of .8hp vs. 1.3hp isn't all that noticeable at legal speeds. Just my 2 cents

i've owned and dyno'd the following on my F4i:

Micron Race f/s
Hindle Ti s/o
Akrapovic EVO f/s

Firstly, I hate microns, too heavy, lousy fit, small diameter pipes, poor hp gains.
Secondly, Hindle, best bang for buck period. cost me 360CDN for the can and pipe
and i couldn't have been happier, gained .2 hp over the Micron full system, sound
was absolutely mint (nice growl but not obtrusive like D&D) , fit was simple and easy.
Lastly, Akra Evo, if you got the cash, do it..... this system alone without PC3R tuning
brought me into triple digits on the dyno... had me grinning from ear to ear.

I had an ART exhaust on mine, its got that deep throaty sound. I heard a Micron on another F4i, it sounded to high pitched and buzzy for me. The only exhaust your going to get a real HP gain with is an Akrapovic. Two Brothers claims an increase, up to 4HP (if you check their website and dyno reports), but I cannot confirm that. Only thing I can suggest is, find a local dyno, and swap pipes until you find one that works. Otherwise most slip-ons aren't going to do much if anything for HP gain, mine didn't, and actually ran better with the stock pipe.

I had acerbis and it was loud as hell, i would go deaf for about 3 hours after riding for like an hour....8 hours on the bike means your deaf for a day, i wouldn't go that route, i'd got with akrapovic...nice lookin, great sounding exhaust

Can't really go wrong with akrapovic or yosh. Find what sound you like cause youre the one thats going to have to listen to it all the time.

I just put on my Micron Carbon Slip-On on my 03' F4i and it the sickest sounding exhaut that I have heard on any 600. I am not a fan of the ricey loud sound like a crx running a straight header. But I am into the deep growl. This sounds awsome!!! Exactly what I wanted. Micron gets a .

My two brothers is probably going to be for sale. Im turboing my bike this year, and will remove the baffles from whatever exhaust i have on there. Id hate to hollow out a perfectly good twobrothers, so ill just sell it.

Here's my brand new micron. It sounds awsome. You can pretty much make it out through the smoke?

thanks .. but i do wear socks. they are the low cut soprty ones. they are alot more aero-dynamic= going faster! plus i barely was able to afford all of my gear. my lady had to help me with some it. I was more worried about the skull first. I will be purchasing some race boots shortly though !!
