- Dave's car rips real good, it was a little scary on the dyno on a few pulls, could hear some pinging going on, but is now all cleared up. **I got a big stiffy on dave's truck shifter in his crx**

As always the B18 came out with the most torque of the day. Dustins car actually made a bit more horsepower on a previous dyno day what? (206whp?) Boost wasnt holding very good.

Ok, there are no excuses, Other than beating the **** out of it lately and its starting to smoke now. I really thought it would be in the 160's or almost 170's but no... I guess I dont know how to "feel" the all motor power. Oh well my fuel map I made street tuning was god damn near perfect on the dyno. (remember this motor was completely seized when I got it) - Excuse

Beau (BLACKSI)
1990 Honda Crx DX
Joe Dirt Turbo ZC (stock)
Custom Turbo setup running 15-7psi ya..?? spring setups rule!
TC05a mitsu Turbo (spring WG)
2.5 exhaust / 2.0 charge pipes
No Intercooler
Factory PP/ACT 4PUK Race Clutch
Zdyne
148whp / 154tq
Beau probably would have beat my *** on the dyno if his boost would hold, it was floating all over the place from 15-7psi, it would never stay still. The "Spring wastegate" does have its disadvantages I beat beau in the HP catagory, but we had a little street racing, and our cars are almost identicle.. I can get him out of the hole, but on the top end he blows by me. Both really really low budget hack job setups that did pretty decent!
Enjoy
Jeff

Damn you Jeff! You said it would go till evening and by the time Holly and I got to Marysville (like 2 oclock) you were done! Oh well when I figure out my PM6 and get some good maps for TE (and of course get my GSR cams in) I'll go there and bring up the rear.
damn nice numbers from all those cars...
but that ITB b16...thats very very very dissapointing. i remember seeing the build up/how to on those ITBs, looked very interesting and worth while. something has to be up w/ that motor though, i mean ITB even on a stock motor should pull a lil more than that...i'm thinking. maybe the gains would be a hell of a lot better w/ higher lift cams/high compression. good luck w/ that motor

Guess you really didnt see the write up on that Trailerpark b16.. it's givin that name for a reason
The motor is a complete Hack job, it was completely seized when I got it, cylinders full of rust. All I did was hone the living **** out of it and put some Napa rings in it, and reuse the head gasket. Bore taper was horrible, and ring end gap was way beyond service limits. Not to mention the valve seats had tons of pits on them. (I was simply going to throw this engine in the garbage) I was so suprised the car even ran.. Ya, we would have all liked to see a bit higher #'s... but in theroy thats about right for that setup, 152whp is about 180 @ the crank, and the car doesnt have any other mods. The header is the worst piece of ****, I should have taken pictures of it, the bottom 2 runners are smashed in half, lol... So you figure 15-20hp gain with those ITB's
Heres another video with a bit better sound on the itb's... (the first video sucked on the sound) + the other trailerpark car that didnt make it

Maybe if this B16a really produced 160hp stock at the flywheel I would have seen some better #'s.. but no way in hell is this thing 160hp out of the box.. I just wish I would of took more pictures before I started putting it all back together, seriously I have never done such a hack job in my entire life. I still cant believe this thing runs... yes it smokes like a mother ******.. but hey it's still togehter! lol,
so, you figure 152whp is about 180 @ the crank... and that this engine is really about low 150's stock at the flywheel. With the Fucked up 89 dollar ebay header and the 200 dollar homemade itb's threw down a 30hp gain... You make the call, was it worth it?
It sure as hell sounds cool, but all this stuff is for sale btw..
450 ITB's and 450 for the TP B16a
