I assume you tried using your 99 GSR ecu with the 96 engine, yeah?

make sure all your grounds are grounded ?

Have you checked your fuses. Sounds like a fuse with everything you described being out or not working. Give the fuses a look, before making things difficult on yourself.

That's your problem then.
You shoulda kept your 96 interior harness in place....why did you change the interior harness???

the harness would be a 99 but anyways it was changed cause it was cut at the firewall.

All the fuses are fine.

The ecu and harness that came with the car will work on your "new" motor. I don't know why you changed it and I'm guessing that's where the problem is. Not because it's the wrong one but you didn't wire everything right. As far as your windows, clock, and dome light aren't working as the engine wiring harness doesn't deal with those systems. For your speedometer look on the top of the back of the transmission and make sure the speed sensor is hooked up.

I had to change the harness cause it was cut at the firewall and i didn't have the other end. So it's a new harness.

The can didn't come with a motor or ecu thats why i have a 96 motor and ecu. At the time that was the only obd2 motor that i could find.

I'm trying to get a 99 ecu but no one has one. I can get a 99 si ecu but i'm not to sure it's going to work.

Anyone know if i can use the 99si ecu?

So basically everything on your interior doesn't work? Sounds like something an ECU won't fix. I would think the 96 & 99 interior harness would be the same, but for some reason I think this is where the problem lies.
