agreed, the amount of filtration that the carsound cat will give you is very minimal, might as well just pull the damn thing off and get a test pipe, from SMS that is, top quality tests pipes.

I'm getting a cat, that's not really up for debate....I'm just wondering the wait that is associated with him...I'd hate to bother him with things like this, so that's why I posted this thread.

Dave usually has the JDM-sized Carsound's ready to ship out, so unless his move has affected this, there shouldn't be much, if any, wait.

And the amount of power gained from using a test pipe is even more minimal. Catalytic Converters

Big up to Justin for being responsible

Haha, right on Ryan. BTW, I already found a filter for the Icebox I'm buying from you. It's a used Comptech filter for 40 clams from a fellow Honda-tech member.

nobody said that the power gain from a test pipe compared to the carsound is some extravagent amount, i personally dont even think there is a power difference. However if you like changing out the carsound cat every so often and spending teh $2xx that it costs go for it.

Mine is is on it's forth year of service with no problems whatsoever, and I paid under $200 for it.

They look brand spanking new after using the UNI Filter cleaner on them.
