Default Losing Oil Pressure

I finally installed a oil pressure gauge after noticing my oil light coming on after driving the car for a while. Seems as tho after the car warms up or as it gets to Operating temp. It slowly loses oil pressure. And guesses as to what this may be?

Any help is appreciated.

rod bearings are extremely worn. pull the oil pan and look in the bottom for bearing material.

Thanks. Does this mean I will need a new crank?

NO. The material of the bearings is by far softer than crank.

I have the same problem with low oil pressure at warm idle....I have a built h23 turbo. I thought it was my oil pickup..dropped my pan and checked it and everything was fine. There was a little dent in my oil pan but i pounded it out. Same results though.

So do we rule out the oil pump? so i should plastigauge my rod bearings....i think the clearances are too loose when it was put together.

What should be my next step in evaluating this problem?

Thanks.
