Ground Control Vs Skunk2
i had skunk2's on my old sol. they were bouncy when i was running them with stock shocks, but when i got kyb agx's, they were fine. i dont know about GC's, never tried them yet. i hear they're good too though, and kind of the same. i say just pick whichever one you can afford. just make sure you have a good shock/strut combo to go with any of the two.

What exactly is splitting? The threaded sleeve?

like the bottoms of the sleeves just peeling out
does vis not make sleeve coilovers anymore i had some of them on my 99 teg and they rode damn good

I think ground control are too soft. dont get me wrong they ride great, thats if your into the stock ride feel.
Skunk2 are stiffer also ride great with tokico, i pick these over gc anyday for the performance of it

i have skunk 2's and they are not bouncy. they where bouncy but it was because i had stock dampers. maybe he has the same problem.
if you compare the same spring rate of both gc and skunks they will ride the exactly the same.
also depending on the spring rates the stiffness of the ride will vary. duh right?

Has alot to do with what rate are given to what model of cars. For my 5th gen coupe, GC standard kit rates are 380 front 280 rear(i think), shunk's runs 448 front and 388 rear. Now you can use the skunk integra rates on the same civic and have 588 front and 488 rear. The reason i like GC is the difference in spring rate changes is in amounts of 50lbs. Skunk is around 120-150 lbs difference. Easy to make up 50lbs than 120lbs and the single perch mount.
