Default bore and stroke

hey ive asked this question on onother thread but got no response. im going to try to ask it here. so thanks.
Hey guys, how many of you wonder how high the four bangers are going to go into displacment? the saying goes no replacment for displacment. But im trying to figure out how long it takes before we start stuffing v8s in our rides. or where do you think we are going with four cylinders?personally i liked it when nothing went over 2.0L. and i dont think id dream of ever putting a v8 in my honda anyways. i mean the hunger for power is killing us in the pocketbook lol.or me anyways. i want some input on what all of you think so we just dont wind up blowing our money on wrong descions. thanks guys.

well im not gunna put a v8 in my car im just curious what makes imports fast ive drawn two conclusions. One:import cars are very light and carrie electronic controls and sensors. Two: import cars have a rev limit that allows them to make power in the high rev stage. these are a good combination but i dont know what else. thanks for your responses.

Imports that are fast are due to being light weight and they make power by reving high.
Power to weight ratios fully explaine why imports are quick.

Wow! Honda's are fast because they have "alot of electronic, and sensors!) I hope thats not what you really think. Out of all the auto manufactures Honda has one of the most simple computer types and the least amout of sensors. Boy your really gonna be lost when OBDIII comes out!

yeah i get what your saying. but when i talk about honda sensors vs. your typical oldschool v8 its another story. my point is computers are involved in making changes in fuel air and other things to make a burn more powerful or optimal. an old school v8 or any v8 with no map programs or any type of control could not burn efficiently. but then again carburation is good for a drag car.all im saying is everything is different.
