TRANSMISSION FLUIDS?
can any1 tell me exactly what is the best type and howm much do i need to fill an empty transmission. i have a 96 b16a w/ a 96 civic si transmission.

only cause i love .... GM synchromesh!!! this **** is the best.. it gives more protection then the honda fluid does!!.. i think you need something like 2.8 quarts.. to fill it.. i dont remeber .. def dont need more then 4

ive used honda mtf, redline mtl, gm synchromesh, gm fm synchromesh... quite honestly they all get the job done. I do like redline and gm a tad better though.

i'm guessing you've had problem with grinding b4 using honda fluids? From my experience, i haven't had any problems with grinding after using honda MTF.
