Default cruise control[accel/decel -> volume controller]

i was wondering...since i never use my cruise control, and i always liked the idea of having the volume controller
on the steering wheel like bmw's, has anybody made the [i dont remember the button labels,]
accelerator/set cruise/cancel into volume controllers?? im sure it's possible, i just wana know if anybody
has done this or thought of this??

Sounds like a good idea in theory, but you would have to have a radio that is capable of remote volume/channel control. I doubt you could do it with a stock radio....but a head unit that has a optional remote input could probably be easily transformed by using the input wire from the actual remote spliced into the steering wheel buttons. Might be a pain in the ****, but it would be pretty slick!
Also, I have noticed on my Teg's steering wheel that there are holes on both sides to accomodate the steering wheel being in a RHD vehicle. If you could secure a cruise control switch from a RHD vehicle, you could technically keep your cruise control and just add the other one on the other side of the wheel! Might work...never thought about it before.
Let us know if you pull it off! I may try it as well.
