Saving cruise control?
I plan get a either the spoon or mugen steering wheel with an NRG quick release. The only thing is I would like to keep the cruise control. Do you think it is possible to still keep it and have any of you seen this done or have done it?
Thanks

I'm assuming you're replacing a steering wheel that has cruise functions on it? My car has an aftermarket cruise control installed. There's another stick coming out just below the turn signal stick. I'll most likely be replacing the controls with factory stuff though (EG).

well i have the factory steering wheel but I was wondering if i could take the cruise control off of it and put it somewhere else. I don't know if anybody has a pic or has done it before.

I haven't really taken my wheel apart to see if you can pull the plug for those buttons down anywhere, but I'm pretty sure you could move it somewhere. If the wires aren't long enough you could cut and extend them so you could mount it somewhere.

be careful when extending wires, it can change the voltage needed to operate the system in question. But I think you should be fairly safe since we are only talkin about a cruise control switch here.
