i am wanting to beat my 2 friends at the track in 2 months and we have same mods(intake and exhaust) same motor(F22b1) but they have manuels and i have auto. i need to find howe to beat them how i am or with spending $100 or less(im alittle tight on money)....any ideas help..thanx to all who reply.

 

You just posted this the other day and everyone told you to get a bottle of nitrous. for under $100 you wont be able to do too many engine mods that will matter enough. save your money and in 2 months go buy your nitrous and then race him

The reason everyone is flaming (which should stop) is because this is a dumb question. For example: Two exact cars i.e. model, motor, and trim level with only a difference in transmissions which do you think will win? Answer: the car with the manual in most circumstances. This is normally because the manual car can launch better and shift quicker. Second: with very little money it is hard to make an automatic car faster. My advice to Shambro84 is to not waste his time racing his friend and spend some time researching and learning on here because there is a wealth of knowledge to be had on this site so you will not run into this problem in the future BY ASKING DUMB QUESTIONS!

2000I4: actually as you may know, this is a technical resource forum--however there are other areas of this great site provided by the staff of H-T for these types of topics....namely like the one that started this thread. posting these topics in the incorrect areas can result in point deductions and many tears shed by the member. personally i have witness only one banning of a H-T member and it was due to his continued ignorance and bad attitude, cant remember the user name. so welcome to H-T and beware so you dont get newbie slapped

 

If you really care then lean out your engine, nos is the extreme, other ways are make sure all vacuum hoses are open, buy a resistor and plug it into the sensor on the driver side of the intake manifold, remove the under fender cover if you have a cold air intake, headlight like someone said before if you have a warm one, strip the interior go on a diet and clean out your system with **** pills( I lost 19 pounds with these in two weeks) and you still prolly won't beat them but at least you knew you did everything you could as far as the 100 bucks buy yourself a lap dance and a few beers for your buddies that just beat your *** so they can forget about the whole thing.

ah yes and I forgot to add there is also the liquid NOS that you pour into your gas tank and DO NOT I repeat DO NOT forget the Type R Badge on the back of your accord that is a dyno proven fact that you get at least an extra 50-500 hp off of it good luck
