What b series cable tranny are you guys running in your crx/ef?
Hey wahts up guys, just got my car back from the shop after i blew my y1 up. I was just wondering what trannies you guys have in you b series motorswaps. I have a s1 now, andif you ask me, i like it alot better than the y1

A-1 in my car now. I've got a USDM S-1 one the floor of my garage for a spare.

Hows the differential in your y1 b16?
Ive got a J1 here, stupid peg leg. But the gear ratio's are superb.

I have the LS tranny unfortunately right now (whatever the code for it is, lol...I dunno)
I would like a s1 w/lsd for sure, just seems like they are impossible to find on the east coast without having to sell body parts to afford it!

'92 GSR YS1 with Type R LSD and it kills, now I want to go back in and put the 4.7 FD and tall 5th gear in. Damn.

What about the 92-93 USDM Integra GSR YS1.
Great gearing, but it didn't come with LSD.
Unfortunately, there is some great confusion with this tranny because people have said that in 92 most Integra's whether LS, GS, GSR, came with a tranny stamped YS1. The only way people have said to check what tranny you have, is to open it up and count the teeth on the gears.

Running the 90 teg rs S1 on my b16a 
This thing is like running an hf tranny on an d series si motor. Gotta love a 9000 rpm shift and falling to 6k...owned every time.

JDM S1 tranny with the USDM '90-'91 Teg 5th gear. 0wnz in drag racing and on the highway. The 4-5 shift sucks though.

JDM s1 = B16 Civic (close gears )
JDM y1 = B16 integra (wider gears, but not as wide as USDM y1, opt LSD)
USDM y1 = B18A integra (wide gears)

I used to have a y1 LSD tranny in my ride but now I went with a Hydro ITR tranny! So my y1 LSD tranny is chillin in my garage now...
