depending on what u do... but regardless... you'll need a p28 ECU or any other single cam vtec ecu (if there are any others). Ur going to either have to change your existing wire harness to OBD1 wiring, get new OBD1 wire harness, or use a jumper harness to the ecu.
hmm, i think if the obd0 computer supports vtec you could. Actually there might be a way that you could rig the vtec on a computer that doesn't support vtec, i forget....maybe someone else knows?
But in the end, it'd probably be easier just to find a OBD1 p28 and use that?

I went with a ZDYNE one wire conversion when I had a D16Z6 in my 91 CRX Si. They take your 2g Civic / 4g Civic's ECU and convert it for VTEC control, costs around $320. Later on I sent my ECU back in for the GOLD SECU conversion when I added on a JRSC.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.....Please stop giving out incorrect information. First off, not all 88-91 civic/crx engine harnesses are the same. Secondly, the 88-91 Si wiring harness and 92-95 ecu will not plug into each other! They will not work without SERIOUS modifications. DON'T DO IT.
It is fairly easy what you are wanting to do. Here are the parts list:
Your stock engine harness....rewire for MPFI if needed.
OBD1 D15 Vtec motor, OBD1 D15 vtec distributor and ecu....or P28 ecu.
OBD0-1 Conversion Harness - THIS ONE
4 wire O2 sensor if it didn't come with the motor.
All my harnesses come with detailed instructions for an easy installation. I have done the EF to OBD1 conversion so many times I almost have all the ecu pin outs memorized. I am here to help out if needed. I also have stock P28 ecus in stock.
