Default Just bought a clutch for 20 bux

I just bought this and I need to know what kind of condition its in. Its a clutchmasters. Its got about 1/16th of an inch of meat on the plates, a lil rust that isnt deep. What do I need to have done to it so it will work well if its salvageable?

Let me know what you guys think plz.

i personally think its salvagable, id throw it in with ur stock pressure plate, ur use the finest sand paper u can et and sand some of that rust off the plate, but it seems like it will hold good for about 4 months nicely driving maybe 2 if ur on it all the time though, its a 6 puck sprung to not to much of a chatter, which os good, i have 6 puck sprung in my car but i like 6 puck unsprung better, has a better feel like u gotta work to push the clutch in, this clutch i got now is easy to push, so it dont seem like its engaging sometimes =/

Doesn't seem like it's really worth the trouble... dropping the tranny is not fun.

It's fine, Just get some of the major rust off of the pressure plate and spray it with some brake-cleaner to get any oil or grease off... And get that dirty bastard off the white carpet.

I wouldn't waste my time with putting that in. A clutch is not something I want to change every couple months. That thing looks like crap

why gamble on a used clutch when it costs more in time and energy to open up the tranny.
