Towing with a 5-speed?
I was wondering can you tow a car with a 5 speed truck ...like flatbed trailor and car ...or would it just burn up the clutch extremely fast? or is there some sort of technique you need to do ..does anyone know from experience? ...my boy has a 90 jeep cheeokie 5 speed and is thinking baout using it for a tow car ...but i thought towing a car would burn up the clutch alot faster than normal ...any input would be appriciated ...

I towed my friends turbo civic that wasn't running with my turbo civic that was with a 6 puck clutch about 10 miles with a rope
That was a fun experience... But she's still running strong. The turbo helped SOOOO much, it spooled nice and low under the massive load and pulled that biotch up all the hills
...but yeah... most semi trucks are manual... like 18 speed, but still
