Default B18C1 w/ JRSC into 91 CRX Si

I know Keebler just did a post on the installation of a b16a w/ type r jrsc (using hasport mounts) into a 91 CRX Si, but I have a few questions of my own.

First... has anyone on this board ever DONE the specific swap I'm working on completing?
Do any of you know what clearance issues I will run into using the place racing mounts... how differently they placethe motor than the hasport mounts...

Is traction going to be as bad as I think it is?! I'll be running 6 lbs of boost--- 8 at the most!
also, I am gonna be using a b16 hydrolic transmission... do any of you think that I should dish out the extra $1000 for a quaife LSD? I might be able to splurge the money. Or do you think I can deal w/ adding that later (assuming I'll be able to remove the tranny from the car after the engine has been installed).

TIA....
Zack

sorry i wasn't trying to tell you about his intercooler, he has done alot of the swaps you are talking about.

i don't know much about the difference in mounts.

8 pounds of boost will definetly give you traction problems. i run nitto 555r's, they help alot. and get me close to 10,000 miles.

good choice on the tranny, and you can't go wronge with that lsd.

it would be eaiser to but the lsd in first, but not that hard to do later on down the road. hth dee

i can tell you right now traction will be a problem, even at 6PSI. the problem is that it has so much torque down low. add that to the fact that you're starting with a larger displacement motor, and i promise that you will spin through first and second. as far as getting LSD, i guess it depends on what you want to do with the car. if you're using it for a daily driver, then you can probably live with taking it easy in first and second gear. however, if you plan to drag with it, then you might want to consider the LSD. you're probably looking at about a days worth of work to put the LSD in if you decide to wait. it doesnt help that the CRX weighs next to nothing
