I have a check engine light thats always on and i cant diagnost it cause there is something wrong. I tried to connect a wire with the 2 connectors holes to make it blink and give me a code but the light wont blink! anyone know whats the problem?

 

Are you sure that you're jumpering the cable correctly? I just did this on my friend's Accord and the first time we did it, the light didn't blink because the paper clip wasn't connected properly.

What year and model? Does it run? Have you checked the fuses?

 

I thought that meant the ecu

 

that definitly means something under your hood is wrong. Do you have stock wiring??? stock motor??
