Wondering if the teg on the following link looks to be a good deal. Only thing's got me worried is that he said he's running 15 pounds of boost, and that's on stock internals. Any suggestions or comments? Just the JDM conv and turbo amount to a good amount of $. Also, said it would need a new front lip bcuz it's cracked pretty bad.

it has a metal headgasket that lowered the compression....

i'd be wanting to put in a Hondata and tune it tho!

 

If it runs good, then its a steal imo.

You could turn around and sell it to someone local and easily get more than what you paid.

 

...on second thought, maybe it is stolen!

offer him an extra 500 bucks on top of the price to throw that wing in the trash before you buy it

Also for a newer rear and to get rid of those wheels

 

i'd go for it

 

1. i don't think the wing looks that bad; at least it's not aluminum. i kind of like the look
2. what's so wrong with the rear also?
3. the wheels i would be selling and getting a nice set of 17 or maybe 18" gun metal with polished lip
4. i would get the 98-01 red/clear tails - cleaner looking

5. most of the stuff i would be selling, so i could customize the way i want it

i think you just answered your own question.....if you're going to be selling the stuff on it. why buy it?

 

i wouldn't be spending that much $. i would be saving a lot of money because its already got a jdm front end and a full turbo setup with all necessary engine work. i would sell the newly installed stage 4 clutch, because it will be a daily driver, and rather have a stage 1 or lower installed. i would sell the rims and get one's i like. it's still a good deal

 

id hop on it if it drives fine, and hey, if you dont like it, part it out and make an *** of some money

 

wow that's actually not a bad price when you consider what was put into it. I know most kids that had a car like that would be asking 13k+ on ebay and ****. I don't care for the wing/rear, but hey, the front is nice. However, i would surely think a lot of that stuff was stolen, ask for receipts.

 

u should be on that like justin on the jackson tit show =D hehe not a big fan of kits but i like the rear lip =D colors nice to wing aint even that bad, take the white h off and go with oem red h or just the chromey =D and change to c west bumper and ur good to go =D

 

Looks good to me. Take it for a spin and make sure everything is running properly. If everything seems ok i say go for it!

 

Even if the motor dies on you in a few days, the rest of that crap will at least break even.

 

get rid of the wing, wheels and rear bumper and you should be FINE!
