Default Using a P28 ecu or P30 Ecu on a B18c? Why?

Ok I get people telling me their using P28's and P30's ecu on B18c GSR motor. I am like what gives? Why are you doing that? Don't you need the P72 ecu to run your secondary butterfly valves for vtec? So why are you using a D15/D16 vtec ecu or B16a ecu to run a B18c motor? Sure it runs... but what's the use of having a B18c if your not running it to it's full potential?

They are cheaper and easier to find, and the fuel maps are close enough.
Also, you can chip them just like the P72 for higher VTEC crossovers and fuel and ignition maps.

And if you get a different Intake manifold without the butterflies then there are no worries about that.
