Unreliable..HELP!!
I have a 94 accord, and slowly over the last couple of months the engine kills. It has gotten worse over time. Meaning it happens more frequently and wont start back up for a while. At frist it would start right back up. None of the battery related things turn off. The engine just dies and leaves me coasting. I thought it might be fuel related....so changed out the fuel filter and part of the fuel line....any suggestions...it wont make it to a shop so I have to get it towed and then diagnosed. Would really like it to work again. PLEASE???
when you try to start it back up, does it even turn over or is there nothing at all? When was the last time you changed your plugs and rotor? When was the last time you used injector cleaner?
Maybe alternator..even though the electrical is still on that would come from the battery...just a guess but you might have to go to the shop
I know a notorious problem is the main relay for the older cars...if it just dies out but you still have power it might be this. PM a guy name RUBIZERK he sells them for way cheap. Good luck and welcome to h-t.

I tried the rotor cables and plugs too. Just to start replacing the things that were easiest first...when I try to start it it cranks but doesnt turn over, but then I could go out an hour later and try to start it and it will start.
Thanks for replying.
