well i havnet even looked at what i could do, im plannin on getin some of that flex tubing **** and have it somehow on my bumper so it gets good flow. but i want to make like a shield in my engine bay to keep as much heat away from the filter as possible so all the cold air from the tube goes into like a half a box thing.
so im tryin to go for like a .... half icebox w/ a tube kinda filter on a normal short ram intake inside it...damn i dont even know what i want...imma go to home depot and get some **** and try some stuff...thennn ill get back to ya.

yes but the difference is that the turbo rushes the air through so quickly.. less time for heat absorption from the intake manifold to the air. also, the compressed air is typically much warmer
i had an idea for a real "cold air intake"
first you need a normal cold air intake, and then some pipe thats larger than your current intake and will fit on the outside of the main part in the engine bay. weld it into a box and seal it off, leaving one opening as a lid.
go to walmart or wherever and buy a bag of dry ice and fill up the box with it, and while you're at it, you acn put some on your intake manifold while you are waiting in the staging lanes

I'm going to be modifying my GF's 5th Gen Lude intake tubing and stock air box when I put in my B16 next weekend.
the piping on the stock intake tube for the lude in considerably bigger then the piping that came with the B16A. I know I'll have to cut it up and stuff since it will be too long but that's cool, at least it's routed like the Civic compared to the tegs.
