In my 1990 accord, when i roll up the drivers side window, its leaves like a 1/4" gap between the window and the top of the door ( by the seat belt ).... its annoying as hell when driving. Is this something i can fix or do i have to buy/replace something to fix it? If i take the door panels off what do i have to do to fix it? how hard is it?
I have this same problem. I have power windows. We have taked the door panels off several times. My problem seems to be the weather stripping. I think that I am going to have to go to the local honda dealer and spend an arm and a leg to fix it. Good luck with yours.
Well generally a quick fix is to get some silicon lubricant (like wd40 but way better) and get a q-tip and run it along the window track. This should fix it and if it doesn't plan on removing the door panel and lubing up the actual window track. This sounds like a lot of work but it actually goes really fast. It generally a typical problem with the 4th gens. Hope this helps out.
