I got a usdm type R steering wheel and i wanna replace it with my old in my EG,What bolts do i need to remove to get the wheel out? and its SRS. Thanks for the help.

 

Remove the sterring column plastic cover (a couple screws and it snaps apart), Remove stock sterring wheel. Take out SRS Reel. Put new Stering wheel on. Horn Won't work unless you hook up a new contact ground wire for the wheel (Old wire was in srs reel).

 

There are two torx screws on the side, under little plastic covers that just snap off. Once theses screws are out, the airbag will come out. There is a red clip that clips into the SRS bad to prevent static from igniting the airbag. Do not lay the airbag horizontal. Treat it like a bomb. Very gentle like...
Once that is out, I think it is an 18mm bolt to take the wheel off...

Ok,I checked this out and it doesnt look as easy as you guys said,here could you point it out or tell me alittle more?

 

there are plastic inserts on the bottom, left and right of your steering wheel. you need torx bits (the stars) so dont continue unless you have them, remove them (theres 3) and then the airbag will come off. then a big 19mm in the middle and bam ur done.
