Because you can't see any when the unit is installed. If you need that ultimate piece of mind that the backside of your climate control is A+ mint condition, this is not for you.

I don't think you are trying to scam anyone. I see that you edited the description of the part. Your original description said no cracks. I prefer not to be mislead from the start. Good luck on your sale.
