Default Balancer shaft removal ?

We are building an f22 and would like to know if anyone has removed the shafts and plugged up the oil holes, if so what were your methods.

Instead of removing the balance shafts, just dont install the balance belt. It serves the same purpose, right?

Thanks for the info guys. I did a search (why didn't I think of that?) and found some links. This is going to be a daily driver so I think we'll leave them in. Now if I could get some head studs to hold the 25 lbs of boost
