Can I use a AT wire harness on a manual EX motor???
Im putting a 97 ex motor in my 98 cx hatch and the wire harness I just got from ebay is a auto harness. The only thing that isnt matching is the IAC. The plug on the harness is a 3 wire when I need a round 2 wire. Can anyone tell me what I need to do?
if i remember rite this is what i did:
first, yes you can use your AT harness
just don't plug in any of the extra tranny stuff
convert the 3 wire IACV to a 2 wire
add the Vtec and oil Pres. switch
you will have to wire the reverse light from the ecu
if you have any other questions pm me
i'll try to help

Well, what percentage were you in making this guess?
Auto wiring harness uses a 3-wire IACV while you have a 2-wire style. You will need to get a 2-wire plug and graft it onto your harness....2 wires will match up, the third (orange) will not. You will then have to move a wire at the ECU connector for proper IACV operation.
You might want to look into a Helms manual to show you exactly what differences there really are.
