like the topic says. i found a motor and tranny out of a 93 integ ls and was wondering if it would be worth my wild to put the auto in or just find a 5 speed? also any idea how much faster the 5 speed would be vs the auto.

Hasport and Place Racing both make mount kits for B-series swaps into 1G CRXs. So the mounting of a B-series motor is not going to be a problem. However, swapping in a B-series motor with an automatic transmission IS a problem. The transmission mount is different for an automatic. And the mount kits made by Place Racing and Hasport will accommodate a manual transmission only. So if you are hellbent on using an automatic transmission, you will either have to custom fabricate a transmission bracket or weld in the Integra mount. So go with the manual transmission.
