Default Stop turbo from free spinning at all....

I am installing my turbo on my daily driver, I want to do the install in steps so I put a piece on at a time, drive it for a while (go to work, the store etc for a few weeks) and when time permits add something else. My question is I want to install the mani, turbo, wg and dp but I dont want the turbo to spin at all, I just want it there so I dont have to keep taking it on and off for test fits for the charge pipes. So is there a way to bypass the turbo so it is just sitting there lookin pretty not spinning with all. I know I could remove the wg spring, but would it not still be spinning?
I wish I had all the time in the wold to do this project but I dont .

nope, if you bolt up the turbo and the manifold, there is no way of making it not spin....

Install your charge pipe last.

No. If you dont have a charge pipe attached to the turbo, it will have an even EASIER time of spinning, and if you ever need to "get on it", you can easily damage the turbo my over-spinning it. You need some air resistance for the turbo to push.

Do it all at once, or don't do it at all.

You can't have half a turbo setup on your car for a few weeks...

I would agree do it all at one time or you will wish you did when it comes down too it.

Yep, definitely take your time saving up money too. The most important part is obviously the turbo and from personal experience you shouldnt skimp at all on it, just spend save up and buy a new one for 500-600 or so. I'm out about $600 because of taking the "easy route" on a turbo kit

i installed my fuel management a week or so b4 the trubo, that is safe to install since it does not require the turbo, but everything else works together, unless you want to install the charge piping & IC w/o the turbo (uber-rice).
