What would be better to build all motor car out of
I just got 2 civic
94 civic hatchback EH ( SAME AS EG) vtect-E
or
89 crx hf
The swap is a dc5 motor..

Both are good choices.
I would rather use the crx since I am a crx nut.

I feel the same way.

But either car would be a good choice.

EG is what i would roll to kill hseries

but crx is a lil lighter but 92 civic
has long wheel base


and crx has crap for wheel base


um no k series is right for the eg
and b18c 5 for the crx keep both

If it were me it would be the CRX HF up to B series, if you are going H22 I would chose the other with the longer wheelbase. A K swap? I haven't formed an opinoin yet.

 

VTEC E means its a efficient POS that makes a good race car.
The 88/89 crx hf and civic vx/cx are all pretty much the same as far as weight.

did u mean dc2 motor?

dc5 ---rsx type r - k series.....am i missing somethin...let me know...

 

w/ the eg you're going to have an easier time w/ the wiring and if it is a dc-5 motor like you are saying, hasport makes a kit for a k series motor into an eg, the crx however is lighter and will be faster assuming you have the means and patience to make it work, good luck
