Default The best Valentines Day EVER

It started off with me at work and forgetting what day it was. On the way home I stopped by Walmart and got her a box of 12 multiflavored/colored items with a new DVD .

Then I come home to this

Hrmmmm, Snap on tools

It's blingin and RED to match my seats, valve cover, and emblems

Then I figure out how to turn it on and it's preset to this.......

Wow, if I only had something to torque down to this many FT/LBS .

Luckily I just got my car back from the shop earlier that day. So I wonder into the garage to find a set of these to replace my shitstreams.

Just to let you guys know, total costs to repair the car was close to $10,000 where I got back barely over 2 . Paint looks better than it ever has and I'm as happy as a pig in mud.

Damn you have good eyes. I didn't care because I just wanted the wheels on my car that night. Waiting for some gunmetal spooooooon lug nuts now.

I got the car fixed a place in Dallas that does work for Lambos and Ferrari of Dallas. He doesn't advertise at all and all of his business is from referrals. Progressive was probably pissed whenever they had to fork over an extra 5gz for supplimental fees .

Spoon lugs won't work either. I was about to ask where you found black acron lugs. OE are the only acorn nuts besides pep boys that I have seen.

Sp00m has a acorn style nut (silver I think) that 'should' work with OE wheels.

Inlinefour has spoon lug nuts for stock wheels.

EDIT: heres the link http://inlinefour.com/spoonanlugnu.html

NOTE: Gunmetal lugs are specifically desinged for stock Honda wheels.

Ok, I have a question. How did she know to buy something like a torque wrench? and especially one that expensive?

Did you tell her that's something you wanted?

I would fall over dead from shock if I ever got a car (or any hobby for that matter) related gift.

That torque wrench is bling, although i think i would prefer a regular 'clicker' wrench.

I bought a $20 'Pittsburg" torque wrench from Harbor Freight to take to the track for my lugnuts.

RJ - who spent V-day driving the R around and going to the bar...
