Default V-AFC question

I am thinking about getting a V-AFC but if I do it would probably void my warranty so my question is: can I "hide" a V-AFC from the honda service department without disconnecting it? Can it just be turned off? They haven't noticed the JDM header, and they don't care about the AEM intake so should I even be worried about it? Should I just wait until my warranty is up?

If you want to waste your money, go buy the harness that everyone is selling for the VAFC and that will keep the dealership boys at bay. Just unplug it when you go in for service.

Hey, I resemble that remark!

I want to be able to go back to stock without a trace if need be, so that's priceless imho.

If you're interested in such a vafc wiring harness, give kenji on this board a shout.
